Overview:

Six Sigma has now become one of the key strategic improvement tools of choice in today's most successful organisations. The acquisition of Six Sigma skills and expertise is career enhancing for individuals and provides the organisation with a precious resource, the ability to identify and drive performance through project-based improvement programmes.

Six Sigma consists of a structured approach to improvement: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. Statistical and Creativity tools are employed to uncover the vital few factors that drive improvements in customer service, quality, and process performance. This enables the shift towards managing by fact and the expectation that employees and managers consistently adopt an approach where data-driven decision making is routine.

There are a variety of skill levels available from workshops with a basic understanding and basic tools (Yellow Belt) through practitioner levels who can lead their own teams in the techniques (Green Belt) through to experts (Black Belt) that address strategic projects and sponsor Green Belt projects.
