This practical workshop introduces the principles of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and equips participants with the skills to carry out autonomous maintenance activities that improve equipment performance and business profitability. Over two days, attendees will learn TPM’s core concepts, deployment steps, and how to apply practical maintenance actions to support Lean operations.
This course is eligible for up to 50% funding through the Welsh Government’s Flexible Skills Programme, making it an affordable way to build essential Lean skills and gain recognised accreditation.
About the Course
This two-day, hands-on workshop covers TPM principles, including the 8 pillars and the 12-step deployment process. Participants will understand health and safety requirements and resources needed for TPM activities, perform autonomous maintenance tasks, and learn how to identify and eliminate the 16 major manufacturing losses.
The course also teaches how to collect data for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), carry out TPM audits, and integrate TPM with other Lean business principles to sustain improvements.
