This practical, EAL-accredited workshop introduces core problem-solving methods that help teams tackle workplace challenges systematically. Over two days, participants will learn how to analyse issues, identify root causes, and select the best solutions using proven Lean tools.
This course is eligible for up to 50% funding through the Welsh Government’s Flexible Skills Programme, making it an affordable way to build essential Lean skills and gain recognised accreditation.
About the Course
This three-day, hands-on workshop focuses on applying structured problem-solving techniques to real workplace issues. Participants will conduct Root Cause Analysis on current problems, create Ishikawa (Fishbone) diagrams, and use the 3 x 5 Why technique to drill down to underlying causes. The course also covers consensus decision making and data analysis to support informed solution selection.
Practical exercises guide participants through the full problem-solving cycle, with tips on facilitating team involvement and ensuring sustainable improvements.
