This interactive workshop provides participants with the mindset, tools, and techniques needed to apply Continuous Improvement (C.I.) and Kaizen in their workplace. Over two days, attendees will learn how to identify waste, select the right improvement approach, and use structured frameworks to deliver measurable results. With practical exercises and real-world applications, participants will leave ready to champion improvement initiatives within their teams
This course is eligible for up to 50% funding through the Welsh Government’s Flexible Skills Programme, making it an affordable way to build essential Lean skills and gain recognised accreditation.
About the Course
This hands-on, EAL-accredited workshop introduces participants to key Lean and Kaizen methodologies for sustaining improvement in the workplace. Over two days, attendees will explore the 7 Wastes, learn how to benchmark processes, and apply the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) framework to drive change. The course also equips participants with the knowledge to plan and run successful Kaizen events, ensuring improvements are not just identified, but embedded into daily practice.

Recognise the need for continuous improvement as a mindset and practice
Conduct a 7 Waste Audit to uncover inefficienciesDifferentiate between types of improvements and select the most suitable approach
Apply techniques to identify and eliminate waste effectively
Use Benchmarking to measure and compare workplace performance
Implement the 12-step PDCA framework to structure improvement projects
Plan and lead a successful Kaizen event
Apply Performance Indicating Techniques to track and sustain progress
