About the Course

This hands-on, EAL-accredited workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to health and safety compliance. Over two days, participants will explore the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and understand how current legislation impacts both employers and employees. Using HSE statistics and case studies, attendees will gain insight into enforcement actions and common workplace risks.

The workshop focuses on practical application: participants will conduct a health and safety audit, create an action plan from audit results, and complete a risk assessment. Learners will also practice safe manual handling techniques, and apply housekeeping principles to ensure safe working practices are embedded into daily Lean activities.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
